Sandy easily sees through all this and sees how worse SpongeBob’s gotten. Since they can’t make SpongeBob look well, they decide to hide him by disguising him as Patrick’s second rock house. This is why idiots can never be doctors people. Their ways however end up hurting SpongeBob since their inspired from medieval torture. Since they can’t get Sandy to stop coming over, they decide to make SpongeBob look well. SpongeBob has Patrick call Sandy to call off the doctor’s visit but Sandy still wants to check up on SpongeBob to make sure this isn’t one of Patrick’s many lies. Aside from making SpongeBob bigger, they seem to work nicely. Patrick decides to help SpongeBob feel better by simply plugging up SpongeBob’s holes so that he won’t sneeze anymore. Then again, the lack of physicals may be why he ain’t an athlete. Geez, when was the last time SpongeBob had a check up. This is enough to scare the idiot brothers since SpongeBob decides to not go. Patrick however tries to talk SpongeBob out of it since he’s heard stories about the doctors’ office with boring old magazines and cold stethoscopes. ![]() The sick sponge informs Patrick about his plans to go to the doctor. Those suds must be making his brain smarter.Įventually, Patrick comes by and gets a load of SpongeBob’s suds. Wow, SpongeBob actually got someone with common sense to take him. Since he’s too sick to go on his own and Gary’s just a snail, he decides to call Sandy to take him the doctor. This doesn’t stop customers from assuming their food’s contaminated and cooked by a sick sponge.Īt home, SpongeBob finally admits he’s sick and decides to go to the doctor. Krabs ends up getting suspicious at how SpongeBob’s falling apart and he decides to send SpongeBob home to get some rest after Gary (what a loyal pet) snitches on SpongeBob’s suds condition. Squidward should take some lessons from him (then again he’s a musician not an under payed fry cook protagonist). Moral of the day: Never have a midnight snack because nothing good comes from it other than humor.ĭespite this, SpongeBob still wants to go to work since he’s a workaholic. To make things worse, SpongeBob has gotten a sponge version of the common cold which is the suds. Midnight snack shenanigans never turn out great.īecause the refrigerator door is open, SpongeBob’s pineapple ends up frozen solid top to bottom. SpongeBob manages to fall back to sleep the second he takes a single bite on his sandwich. Fun fact: midnight snacks can cause chaos. However, all this dreaming is making SpongeBob hungry so he decides to go for a midnight snack. Must be set after everyone yelled at SpongeBob in the sister segment Sleepy Time and agreed to let bygones be bygones. If left untreated, it may become severe.Hey y’all, reviews (except Scaredy Pants) will be coming out on either Saturday or Sunday so stay tuned for reviews. Plugging up the sponge's holes is typically not recommended, as the pressure buildup may cause the sponge to inflate like a balloon and eventually cause the corks to pop out from the pressure, much like champagne corks, similar to what Patrick does while acting like a doctor to SpongeBob.Īn onset of the suds appears to be self-limiting and relatively mild, although more severe cases can warrant a visit to the hospital. While home treatment does not in itself cure the illness, resting and dressing in layers appears to alleviate some of the discomfort, at least temporarily. Once the excess soap is discharged, the sponge is able to breathe properly, retains its original color, and feels immediately energized. The "sponge treatment" is a very quick and painless procedure. Treatment of the suds involves using the sponge as a cleaning instrument to wring out the excess soap. The symptoms are caused by an excess buildup of soap and bubbles within the sponge.ĭiagnosis of the disease is made by a certified medical doctor based on an external examination of the presenting symptoms. ![]() The suds appear to be caused by, or at least encouraged by, prolonged exposure to extremely cold temperatures, in a manner similar to the common cold. The illness begins with chills and feelings of disorientation and fatigue, and then progresses to the upper respiratory tract. Sagging of the nose/eyelids is also commonly exhibited. The disease also occasionally causes the sponge's eyes to fall out, though this can immediately be remedied by placing the eye back into its socket. Whenever the sponge sneezes, many pink bubbles emerge from their body. Symptoms of the suds seem to mirror those of the common cold or influenza, and include bad breath, sneezing, runny/stuffy nose, pale skin, fatigue, bloodshot eyes, chills, general malaise, and shakiness.
